11th Odesa International Film Festival || from 10.07.2020 to 18.07.2020 || Odessa

The Odesa International Film Festival is one of the largest audience film festivals in the Eastern Europe and the major film event of the year in Ukraine. OIFF is nine days of exclusive movie premieres, meetings with international movie stars, masterclasses by leading filmmakers and unique festival atmosphere!

Since 2010 the Odesa International Film Festival has been gathering cinephiles and moviegoers from all over the world in Odesa in July. In 2019 the festival set a record - 165 000 attendees!

Annually popular movie stars become the guests of the festival. Catherine Deneuve, Isabelle Huppert, Jacqueline Bisset, John Malkovich, Darren Aronofsky, Claudia Cardinale, Eric Roberts, Rose McGowan, Aidan Turner and other star guests visited the OIFF.

The program of the festival includes exclusive film premieres, most of which don't get wide release in Ukraine, so the audience can only watch them at the OIFF. All programs of the festival screen over 100 films from all over the world. Among them are top premieres from Cannes, Venice, Berlin and other leading European film festivals.

The non-competition program is also rich: thematic and personal retrospectives, gala premieres, award-winning films, children's animation and feature films, premieres of the most anticipated TV-series as well as special screenings and open-air performances.

Grand open-air performance at the Potemkin Stairs is a tradition at the Odesa IFF. On the second day of the festival this famous location becomes a huge open-air cinema overlooking the sea. Annually world film classics accompanied by a live symphony orchestra is screened here for 15 000-audience.

You can meet star guests and popular Ukrainian celebrities at the festival parties that are held every day at the OIFF Festival Club. This plus unique atmosphere of Odesa, seaside vacation and screenings of the best films equals the major cinema event of 2021 that you cannot miss!
