Fantastic Confusion
"Fantastic Confusion" is a play based on a work by popular Broadway playwright A.R. Gurney, exploring yet another variation on the love triangle theme. What adds a unique twist to the plot is that one corner of this triangle is occupied by... a dog.
Greg finds a dog—Sylvia—on the street and brings her home. However, Greg's wife, Kate, is not at all happy with their new housemate. This leads to conflict between Greg and Kate, leaving Greg with an impossible choice: his beloved wife or his cherished dog. One can only feel sympathy for the main character.
"Fantastic Confusion" marks the second directorial work of Oleksandr Shchesniak, a Merited Artist of Ukraine, on the "Elevated Stage." The director believes that every person who watches the performance will find something deeply personal in this somewhat bittersweet comedy. After all, the themes of relationships, love, loyalty, understanding, and compassion are ever-relevant, especially today.
So, if you consider yourself an animal lover, this show is a must-see!
